Rugby Stars Fail Dope Test

The South African rugby team suffered a tremendous blow, when their two key players failed the drug test, for the Northern Hampsire tour.
Already feeling the aftermath of injured players, South Africa, will also be losing, the famous duo of
Chiliboy Ralepelle and Bjorn Basson .Both icons are being dismissed from all categories of rugby, for time unknown. The banned drug, Methylhexaneamine, was used by both the disqualified players. This was proved in an informal dope analysis,
soon after their game against Ireland, which they won 23-21.

Bjorn bassoon was destined to be unavailable for the tour, as he was suffering from an ankle injury. This predicament did not allow him to participate in the encounter against
Wales. To add fuel-to-the-fire, it was an honor for Chiliboy Ralepelle to lead his side, as the first black captain of South Africa. South African rugby coach, Peter-De-Villeirs,
has stated that he and his personnel will leave no

stone unturned to find out the truth. This drug is used in supplements, but its negative outcome has caused it to be forbidden. Villeirs stressed that it could be an unintentional mistake made by his players and there’s an outside chance

that the whole team could fail the drug test, if they are using something which can cause a positive dope analysis.. He quoted

"When I informed the two players that they had been tested

positive they were both extremely shocked and disappointed. The rest of the team was also gutted when they heard. I was informed of this at 2 a.m. this

morning, and now we must follow the correct processes as laid down by the International Rugby Board."

On the contrary, the team doctor, Craig Roberts explained that both the disqualified superstars were using medicines to recuperate, as they were seriously ill. These medicines
could be the reason.  The South African Rugby Union urged that both team members had the authority to have their “B” sample tested and be given the green signal. The Union stressed that they were unsure and unaware of the

consequences behind this failed drug test and that many issues need to be

sorted out.
