  1. Even if it wasn't on purpose, there shouldn't be any reason for a coach to kick someone off of a team for an injury unless they were doing something grossly unsafe.  The coach and players all should understand that injuries happen in a contact sport.  I'd say you should talk to your coach more, ask why he kicked you off, and work from there.  It could be that he isn't telling you everything, or it could be, as I said, that you were doing something that was endangering other players.

  2. I need to know more about the situation. Who was in possession? Were you chasing the ball going forwards or backwards? Were you or her offside at the time? Was it during a ruck or maul and who had possession? Was it off the ball? Was it an illegal spear tackle? Was it a solid legal tackle? Was it obstruction? (bearing in mind she cant step into your path, but she doesn't have to get out of your way if she is already in your path) HAve you a history of foul play?

The list is endless really. We need to know more about what was happening!

  3. just try and explain it was an accident ... Rugby is a rough game, and injuries happen, if i got £1 for every time i'd been injured or injured someone in training then i'd be a happy man :-)

i don't know why your coach is being so up tight about this. my coach would be fine, when i was playing at school a lot of the lads played for local clubs so we would all play against each other at the weekend in competitive games, and then be at school training and playing on the same team, and some of the injuries we came back to school with and having to explain to the coach that it was your own team mate who did it was quite funny ... but that's going off track

If your coach doesn't  realise that injuries happen in  Rugby, or doesn't have the common sense to realise it was an accident rather tha intentional, i don't really think he should be coach.

The best thing you can do is talk to him and try and explain and hope for the best

  4. Rugby is an safer sport then football, at school rugby, there shouldn't be any bone breaking
