Rugby: Wallabies’ Moore fit for the clash against England.
Australia has announced its crew for the next match of this autumn season against the arch rivals England at Twickenham stadium this Saturday. They have made only one change in the team, which played and won the last match against Wales.
Stephen Moore, who wasn’t able to play the last match against Wales, has been returned to team. He had to miss the last match due to a lower back injury, which he got during a warm-up session just before the start of match against Wales at Millennium Stadium
Cardiff.
Moore’s return rejoined Benn Robinson, Ben Alexander and him in the front row. Last time they played together in 2009 in the corresponding match against England. They all missed the two match test series against England in June this year due to injuries.
Their return in the front row will make Australia even stronger.
Moore’s, who received the man of the match award against England at Twickenham in 2008, inclusion in squad, sent Huia Edmonds back in replacement players, Edmonds played the match against Wales due to Moore’s injury.
Australian coach Robbie Deans said on Moore’s return that his return will make the squad stronger and his experience will provide guidance in the match. He said,
"Moore’s a 50 Test-plus player, so he brings with him a wealth of experience. He's played at Twickenham on a number of occasions - including last year, as has our starting front row. We have 10 players returning from the corresponding fixture last year
and that experience is invaluable. Twickenham's a great venue to play; it's the bastion of English rugby and they love to get behind their team and use the facility to their advantage, so the more guys that have played there the better."
Other then these 3 front row players, Australia has 9 same players, who won the last year’s autumn season match against England with the score of 18-9 at Twickenham stadium., including Adam Ashley-Cooper, Mark Chisholm, Quade Cooper, Rocky Elsom, Matt Giteau,
Drew Mitchell, Dean Mumm, David Pocock and Will Genia. This thing will give Australia vast edge over England.
Ashley Cooper, who is going to play his 50th international test match, will make his partnership with Matt Giteau, who scored all the 20 points for Australia, when Australia played against England last time.
Full back Kurtley Beale will combine with Drew Mitchell and James O'Connor and will play at the back position. Kurtley was man of the match in the last match against Wales.
Australian Coach Robbie Deans is very confident after the win against Wales and said that the win against Wales provided them a strong base, which will help them in the match against England.
Furthermore, He said they are under no illusions, they know England is a good team. Although, they lost against All Blacks but they played good rugby. They can out-class you on their day. He said, they have seen their game against All Blacks and they will
prepare for the match accordingly.
England beat Australia, when both teams played last time in Sydney. Australia should keep in mind all the mistakes they did in that particular match and try to fix them, if they have to win against England.
