Rugby World Cup Beer Money?

Hi fellas, I've recently started a world cup pool with a few of my mates and the bar flies down at my local boozer.

Basically how it works is: five bucks to enter, pick the winner and runner up for each of the four pools - each winner and runner up scores 5 points

Next; pick the winners of each quarter final - each winner scores 10 points.

Next; pick the winners of each semi final - each winner scores 20 points

lastly; pick the world champion - score 30 points.

The punter/s with the most points takes or splits the pot. 150 point maximum - the world Champ and all winners must be successive. i.e. you cant have RSA as world champ and NZ France in the final.

Not a bad idea mate, but there'll no doubt be a split pot at the end.

Not too many logical combinations to choose from, (unlees there's a few BIG upsets)

I'd pick the same as you up until SF1, where I'd pick Aus, SF2 RSA,

WC Aus

I organised a sweep at work, £20 each to enter. Lucky me, I drew Japan, and then I go & draw Australia for one of the guys that's away on leave!!! GUTTED!!!

I just want an All Blacks v. Wallabies final mate. I know Either of those two would have to be the runner-up of their respective groups. Disgrace and unthinkable, but I want it all the same.
