Question:

Rugby? help!!!?

i'm joining a Rugby team for a friend i've watched the game a couple of times and my dad use to play but i don't know the rules how fit i would have to be to play anything.

  1. its like football with no gear on...and instead of just tackling you haveto put him on his back


  2. Girl, run... drop and do 10 pushups...and then run like h**l...and  repeat. All the way from one end to the other.

    Next get a rugby ball (or nfl football) throw it forward onto the ground, run and scoop it up and then toss it forward again and repeat.

    Kick the ball high up , and catch (do a lot) until you get comfy with catching high balls.

    But very important, gain stamina, the game is tough and lasts long with little chance for a break.

    Now, these are things to do during your own time/ off season. If you can attend practice, then do so they are real helpful at those.
