  1. Rugby Internationals have always been popular because of the Five/Six nations Tournament.  Rugby will become more popular because of the increased coverage, since the RWC was introduced.  

    I doubt it will replace football as the national sport, as there isn't the same coverage at club level and gets a fraction of the funding too

  3. if they keep letting that boring style continue to be played without making some much needed rule changes then its popularity will drop off.

  4. Here in Italy its success increases day by day and the RWC was very important for our team, even if we didn't reach the quarter-finals

  5. well even though im not a great rugby fan i started watching rugby since this rwc.

    im in south africa, and everyone was saying that the springboks are going to win. so i watched it and i must say it was quite interesting, although i dont play rugby. it's kinda too rough.

    well theres some controversies going on in the squad and the coach, so i wont comment on that.

    rugby has always been a south african thing. you'd be surprised that it is the biggest sport here, if not football (soccer).
