  1. Martin Johnson currently looks like the favourite took take over managerial duties. He might take England back to the glory days of 2003, by injecting some much needed energy and inspiration into the team

  2. Jake White-he's worn the World Cup why would you not want him!

In football Capello will come good however i think a manager similar to Sir Al would do the business but is there one?

  3. i think Lawrence Dallagio should be coach when he retires

  4. I think a joint coach could be a help, probably MJ nad Austin Healy (hinted on BBC he is interested), Martin taking the forwards and Austin taking the backs.

  5. a new coach wont make any difference at all, england suck lets face it. We (scotland) beat you (haha good times) and we had hardley beaten anyone at all. Sorry but Jonny is just a poser gets alot of credit that he doesnt deserve especially from his conversion kicks. Dan Parks is a way better kicker and he doesnt get half of what jonny gets.

  6. Martin J for manager. I think he should be able to handle that. As for the coach, I never rated Ashton much, so I would go for one of the many very good NZ coaches around at the moment. And with the Pound being what it is, they can probably take their pick!

  7. Sack Ashton and bring in Johnno and Jake White.

Oh and to the Scot who answered... you clearly know f*ck all about Rugby.

  8. footballs c**p but we do need more english players in the game...

as for rugby the best sport there is, i think we should steal the new zealander coaching wales... he isnt under a perminent contract yet... martin johnson would be excellent in a coaching position, as he was an excellent player, and leader in many aspects...

  9. who cares.....c'mon WALES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Ashton hasn't been given a proper chance.

If it wasn't for 6 minutes against Wales, England would probably have won the 6 Nations.

Martin Johnson would be a top class assistant on a morale front but it would be a gamble to give him the top job as his first job.

Let Ashton pick him as part of his staff if he wants to.

Rugby fans are starting to sound like football fans.  Scary.
