Rugby sevens?

is the rugby sevens very rough

it's always rough to be fair. Our club entered a 7s tourny two months ago but got knocked out in the semis =(. but when your out of breath taking a tackle is even worse!

i think you mean the actual sevens not the rugby... i think lol. No, its actually very fun, and nobody gets THAT drunk. If you go up to the clubs after the sevens THEN it gets rough. Its surprisingly friendly there :D

sevens has more space so most of the 7 teams consist of backs usually, sevens is a lot harder and rougher as you have more space to cover and you've got to hit harder so they dont gain even further ground.

All rugby is tough and Rugby Seven is even tougher. Everybody wants to be a winner so they get rough.

its not rough at all!

when u watch a rugby game you never really see the brutallity of the forwards. sevens is a centers game and involves alot more fluent skills than in the normal game of rugby

Well 7's rugby can be tough if you are new to the game but if you are fast, strong and tough 7's could be the game for you. In 7's rugby there is less contact and the total time of a normal game is 14 minutes with the exception of the finals when the game is 10 minutes each half  so the chances of getting hurt are much less than when playing in the super 14's or stuff like that.

depends on how you play it. naturally with 7 guys and a wide field, there can be more running, less tackling than in 15's.
