  1. firstly you want to learn how to step like dan carter!

the aim of sidestepping is to fool the opposition.maybe practice with acual people and add in a dummie pass or two-im a lock so thats the best answer i can give sorry:)

  2. Some say practise makes perfect. But I say perfect practise makes perfect. Just keep practising nothing beats beating a real person though.

  3. you cant go wrong with practising.

keep at it. i know a guy who is now on the eagles (US) squad, who practised over and over again and now its second nature. he'd be doing sidesteps when we were just warming up running around the field. over and over and over again, round and round the field, whenever we were just running he'd sidestep.

  4. Mate, that`s poofy stepping.....have you never heard of the  traditional NZ step....the  " Maori Sidestep" ?  .......although he wasn`t  Maori...Jonah Lomu was pretty good at the Maori Sidestep.....Mike Katt, along with a few others, learned a bit about it in SA in 95.......sadly, it didn`t win the World Cup,but was great to watch.
