What is the name of the classical that is traditionally played when the players walk onto the pitch in rugby/international games. It is also (albeit in a metal style) on the beginning of the Evanescence song Whisper.

It is 'The World In Union', derived from Gustav Holst's Planets symphony, where it forms part of the Jupiter section.

Is it "I Vow to Thee, My Country" by Gustav Holst that you're thinking of? They play it at the Rugby World Cup, although they have different words and call it "World in Union". Either way, it's one of the greatest pieces of music of all-time. :-)
