Whom do you support for the world cup??

I get the impression that most people here are All Black supporters??

I support NZ, but thats because I'm a NZer and I'm proud of our team.

in saying this however, I have alot of respect for the other teams playing and I know it will not be an easy road. France, SA, and Australia can win as well.

I'll be the first to admit that Arrogance got us in 1999 and woeful standards in 2003, I hope we do not repeat it this year.

well I drew Samoa and Fiji in the works Sweep stake, so for sheer financial reasons I'll be supporting them......

I support South African and then New Zealand and anyone who plays against the Aussies.

I support rugby. The whole idea behind world cups is to grow the games being played.

I don't care who wins. I just want to watch some quality rugby and see the game move forward.

the all blacks are great because they are always level headed, if they lose they dont go 'wingeing' like a lot of other teams, they take it on the chin, admit they messed up in areas and look to where they can improve. they improve, they make depth in the squad, they train hard, they play hard. they also dont 'cheat' ie, lying all over the ball in the dying minutes to secure victory or to waste time. they are there to play and win.

I agree with Damien (probably his country also didn't make it to France). I'm always for the underdogs. It really makes me happy when Samoa beat Wales, or they scare a living h**l out of England. Or what Fiji did to France in '87 and '99! Or what France did to the All Blacks in '99. Or Ireland to Australia in '91...

I always supported Ireland but this O'Driscoll dude is shedding some bad vibes lately, the whole team seems so uptight - win at every cost!

I like the All Blacks but ever since they sold out to Adidas I don't see them the same as before when they wore white collar. I don't know, they lost a bit of aura there. For me at least.

I whole heartedly support the All Blacks.  If NZ are not involved in the game, then I support Canada, Scotland, Ireland and Samoa... I supported Wales before they pulled their ridiculous stunt with the Haka.  If none of those teams are playing, then I support the southern hemisphere team (yes even Australia) simply because I like the style of play.  The other teams I support are "anyone playing against England" hahahah

I think the reason most people here seem to support NZ is because we have the most to crow about right now.  No doubt a bunch of them will disappear for a while if we don't win the cup this year.  I'd imagine this site would have been full of English people 4 years ago.

I support wales - as they stood up to the kiwi's  - the kiwis being the only team on earth who think their traditions are more important than everyone elses and must be displayed last - , when they play away...and who now use the haka (as in cardiff) as a tool for withholding respect too the opposition.
