Rugby tours before the world cup?

Why aren't any of the northern hemisphere sending their first string teams to The southern hemisphere to warm up for the world cup. New Zealand are looking really hard to stop, we have the first super 14 all South African final, and the Australians are looking a lot better than they did last year. Why would they do this?

  1. Too many players in European Finals and Injured.

    Unfortunately for us that's the best we could all cobble together.

              "Players from Wasps, Leicester and Bath have not been

              considered because of their European finals

              commitments, while another 10 are currently in the

              treatment room"

    Thats 35 top choice England players not able to tour.

    The Southern Hemisphere will hammer all the British tourists and most probably make up the whole 1/4, semi and final stages of the world cup.


  2. the majority of first team irish players will probably be inconditioning, we basically know our first team and we are seeing what back up we have in certain positions,
