  1. Winger.

Do yourself a favour, mate.  Go down to your local club.

You'll get a great welcome as they're always looking for new talent, and they'll find your best position.

What's more, you'll make friends that you'll keep for the rest of your life.

  2. Could you include your age as well.

I'll edit my answer when you do that =)

  3. how fast are you ?

if you are fast then you could make a could winger, as long as you can catch.

if you are slow, maybe back row but you'd have to be good at tackling.

i'm guessing your knew to rugby so if i was you i would research the game first before considering playing it otherwise you'll be all over the place and end up getting hurt.

  4. Yeahh, i'd say you could make a flanker with a bit of work

  5. 2nd row or maybe a loose forward (flanker or 8 man)

  6. You might like the Blindside or openside flanker position.  It really depends on how much you enjoy running and tackling.

  7. I'm gonna agree with Oliver J that (depending on your speed) the winger position would be best for you (btw wingers need to be FAST). You are way too light for flanker, though; you'd have to be extremely good at tackling to pull that position off. BTW a wing doesn't do much tackling so if you're a bit unsure of yourself then winger would be a good starting position for you. And your age does help in making these decisions, too.

However, do keep in mind that it's ultimately gonna be your coach who'll be making the decision on your position.

  8. Hey dude, considering the fact that your not "stocky", n ur height bein good, i would place you as a second rower... i.e (4 or 5)...
