Rugby world cup..if you had a £1 bet,,,,which country would you back/support??

new zealand are hot/hot favourites to win this tournament...but the favourites dont ALWAYS win...keeping that in mind - who would you put your £1 on??

just curious ...thank you for any answers.

p.s. i have had a little flutter on the Australians...dont know why - just a pot luck thing-y!!

  2. My home team, the Pumas. I know their chances of winning are not as good as the All blacks or Aussies´s ones, but for one pound i might as well support my team by betting on them, which is the same as placing my confidence in them.

  3. either a NZ springbok or Aussie Springbok final, with Springboks reigning supreme.

  6. Has to be the All Blacks, but wouldn't get much back...maybe South Africa as a long shot.

  7. With the struggles of England and Ireland, the Tri Nations teams have to be the best bet.

    NZ is the clear favorite, but I'd put my money on the Sprinkboks.  Montgomery is really on, and you have to love Habana.

    Montgomery can handle the big kicks and Habana will make a big play to give the 'Boks the '07 Web Ellis Cup
