In a cut throat battle, Ruhuna finally managed to secure the final win, earning the title at the Sri Lanka Cricket Inter Provincial Twenty20 Cricket. The team’s triumph came after defeating Wayamba in the eventual one-over eliminator, following a tie, as
the match came to its closure at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, on Sunday, July, 31, 2011.
