Rules for Adult Groups?

Question

What are the rules for adult groups? I keep seeing conflicting information. We've been asking people to have

(1) age shown in profile (18+)

(2) a profile set to adult

mostly because I've seen other groups doing that. But I read that neither of those things are necessary so I am not bothering with #2. Is there someplace where definitive rules are posted? I don't want the group to be deleted on some obscure technicality. (I'll probably keep rule #1 in place regardless).

What exactly is the point of an adult profile anyway? Even if I don't have to require it as a condition of membership should I advise people they need to be setting it adult if they have adult content on the profile itself? Does it have any bearing on the group if people do and have not set it to adult?

As the other person said, the age does not have to be listed in the profile according to Yahoo.  If you want to have that requirement as a moderator, it is fine.  People can enter any age they want, though.  This age isn't verified.

As far as setting the profile to adult, this is also not required.  The point of an adult profile is if there is adult content on the profile.  So, if there is a naked pic or a picture of the member's member, then that profile should be adult.  It should not have any bearing on the group, but the person could get their own ID deleted for having adult content when the profile is not set as adult.  

There is no reason for anyone without adult content on their profile to set it to adult, unless they don't want anyone under 18 to see their profile.  People who don't want to see adult content will skip an adult profile, so it might discourage some people from checking out their profile if it is set to adult without any reason.
