Ruling out Bobby Labonte, who do you think will be RCR's 4th driver in 2009?

my opinion I think it will be some driver who has won a past championship to help ensure that the new car gets into the first 5 races of 2009. But who could that driver be?

Richard Childress spoke to four undisclosed drivers but said they all raced in the Cup Series which rules out Wimmer in my opinion. I really feel like Martin Truex Jr. will go, if not, it will be Ryan Newman. Greg Biffle said he it is a 99% chance of him staying at RFR so he is out.

I don't think Tony Stewart likes driving a Toyota car. He was always a big chevy spokesman and that might be on his mind. It might not always be about money. Kyle Busch is started to p**s Tony off too, and that's the bigger problem at that camp. Tony wants to be the best on his team, right now, he's just eqaul to his team mates.

Tony Stewart. He is a past champion and that is what RCR will require since it is a new team without points and they don't have a past champion like Penske did this year. It could also be Labonte, but Stewart woould be a steal for RCR.

With NASCAR drivers starting to jump into the "free agent" waters just like other sports it could be almost anyone. I hear that Martin Truex Jr could fly from Dale Earnhardt Inc and of course Tony Stewart has alreayd said that he wants to go to the highest bidder..............My guess would be a young gun like Wimmer or Reutimann...........................

Jamie Mac sounds like he could be a nice fit for that team, I don't know about his relationship with "Happy", but he could fit well with Clint and Jeff.

I think it'll be Scott Wimmer. I can't see why not. They could always change the points from the other 3 cars to that car like what Penske did this year.
