The Bavarian outfit’s chairman was pleased with the outcome of his side’s match against Valencia, but insisted that the German club were not on top of their game in the clash
Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has urged the Bavarian giants to wake up and start taking control of the crucial games in their upcoming fixtures. He said that the Bundesliga outfit got a satisfactory result,
but did not dominate the game in any way.
Bayern only managed to draw 1-1 with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 on Tuesday, despite the home team being a man down for almost an hour. Antonio Barragan was booked twice to receive a red card and the hosts had to do without him for the rest of the
tie, but even then the visitors could not gain advantage over Los Che.
However, the CEO claimed that they can be happy with qualifying for the next round in the competition, although he did express his disappointment over the result. He said that having an extra man should have helped Der FCB get
a victory over Spanish opposition, but they in turn relaxed and could only muster up a point in the end.
"We can be satisfied with the result but not with the game. If you have an extra man for an hour but end up being relieved its finished 1-1, that isn’t satisfactory," the 57-year-old was quoted as saying in an interview.
The club official stated that the outcome is not acceptable for a big club such as Die Roten. He further added that they need to improve on their attacking play as they were also not convincing in their league stalemate against
FC Nurnberg.

"We need to get into gear and hit the gas again. We have a tough week coming up with games against Hannover, Freiburg and Dortmund," he finally concluded.
Rummenigge believes Bayern should focus more on their creative side and have difficult fixtures ahead. Der FCB will take on Hannover on Saturday.
