Rummenigge: Bayern will not sign any more players

The Bayern Munich CEO has insisted that the club is done with its business in the transfer market and has played down any more signings this summer.
The Bavarian giants have been busy in this summer’s transfer window to strengthen the team. The side have acquired some world-class players to make sure they remain dominant at the domestic and European stage next season.
The Reds have secured the signings of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tom-c35214 Starke and have strengthened every department. There had been widespread rumours that the club is also in talks with Edin Dzeko
and Javi http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Martinez-c24468 for a possible transfer before the start of the season.
However, Rummenigge has denied any such reports and has stressed that Bayern have done all their business in the transfer market this season. He added that the squad has some very talented players and the competition for places
is tough, which is a good sign.  
The chief stated that Bayern have two players for every position and it is a squad consisting of world-class players. He added that unless manager Jupp Heynckes and sporting director Matthias Sammer want any addition, the business
is done.
“We have two players for every position - this is our squad for next season. Unless [coach Jupp] Heynckes or [director Matthias] Sammer request an addition, we have accomplished all our transfers before the August 31 deadline,”
he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, the chairman also squashed rumours claiming that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521 is leaving the club this summer. Rummenigge stated that the talk is useless and guaranteed that the Dutchman will stay at Allianz Arena next season.
“The debate over his transfer status is unnecessary. He will be staying with us 100 percent,” he concluded.
Bayern Munich will be looking to dethrone Borussia Dortmund as the Bundesliga champions next season after Jurgen Klopp’s side pipped them for the title for two consecutive years. The team is determined to perform in the upcoming
campaign after another trophyless year.
