Die Roten chairman urged the Italian Serie A to follow the lead of German League, stating that a country’s footballing structure determines how the league will fare in Europe.
Bayern Munich chief executive, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, has suggested that Italian League should follow the pattern of Bundesliga clubs in order to be successful financially. He insisted that the level of the Serie A has worsened
over the last couple of years due to lack of investment and money available to the teams.

Furthermore, the board member maintained that Italian officials should understand that they have to build new and fancy stadiums to attract people into watching the matches. He stated Bayern Munich’s home ground, the Allianz Arena
is a perfect example as it is a modern stadium.
