The Bayern Munich chairman expressed his satisfaction over the UEFA Champions League draw against Arsenal

The Bavarian giants were drawn against English side Arsenal FC in the knock-out stages of the UEFA Champions League. The team faces a tough task at the round of 16 stage and will be looking to down Arsene Wenger’s men in the mouth-watering
clash.
Bayern Munich finished at the top in Group F with 13 points from the six games played whereas Arsenal ended their Group B journey behind Schalke. The Gunners failed to top their group which is why they were in danger of being drawn
against a big club.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge claimed that his side is satisfied with the draw and is confident that his team will emerge as winners from the clash. The chief admitted that his players cannot afford to underestimate the opposition as they
have great quality in their ranks, and are well capable of a win.
The former German international added that Bayern are favourites to win the clash and is aiming for a win at the Emirates Stadium in the away fixture.
“We know http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 well. We can be satisfied with the draw, but we mustn't underestimate them. It's important we try to come away from London with a good result, score a goal there and lay down a marker. We can win it, and we start
as favourites,” he was quoted as saying in an interview to the club’s official website.
On the other hand, midfielder Thomas Muller added that he is excited with the draw and is confident that his side will be able to down the English giants when they meet in February for the next stage of the competition.
“It's a really good draw against an interesting but manageable team. I'm looking forward to playing in London for the first time, and especially to the reunion with the two Germans, Poldi and Per,” the attacker concluded.
Bayern Munich reached the final of the UEFA Champions League last season, but were downed by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 on penalties. The game was played at the German side’s home ground, Allianz Arena.
