Rumor going around my school?

What if there is a rumor going around the school about ( me and a boy) doing stuff. This happened when we were both not at school on Friday. He always skips and I had dance. There is a horrible rumor. What do I do?

Well if the boy is admitting to doing something with you, you should confront him and tell him to grow up and stop making stuff up, but if he's not well just keep denying it mind your own buisness life is too short to be worrying about that people like to make stuff up cause they don't have a life as long as you know you didn't do anything wrong don't worry about it people will forget about it too.

If anybody says anything about it, just say it's not true.  Don't try to prove it, and don't act upset, even if you are.  You might even want to laugh, as if that story were too ridiculous to get excited about.  

If somebody mentions the name of the rumor-monger, say, "I can't believe she said that, she always seemed so kind and truthful."  You can say this seriously or with a laugh, but don't show anger or distress.

Don't say anything bad about anybody, even if they deserve it.  People will soon see who is the decent person and who isn't, if they didn't already know.

I know exactly how this feels. Deny it, but try not to pay too much attention to it. Don't show that the rumours faze you. Just tell your friends its all a lie, they should believe you. And with time it will fade away, it shouldn't take more than a week till its old news!

Allow them to remain ignorant. Is it any of their business? You do not need to justify yourself or defend yourself against people who have nothing better to do than speak ill of others. Your friends will know better and you already do, does anyone else matter?

Hold your head up and never let those who have nothing going for them in their lives, because if they did they would not waste their time gossiping about you, tear you down.
