is it true that protine shakes make you constipated?

haha someone told me this and now im afraid to drink them!

  1. You can get constipated with a high protein diet. Make sure you are getting plenty of fiber in your diet. 25-35 grams of fiber a day is what you should be getting. That will balance you body and you won't get constipated.

  5. protein shakes in of themselves will not cause constipation.  Your overall diet, if high in fat and/or low in fiber will cause constipation.

  6. if anything they make you f**t like a beast and give you a healthy t**d but it dpeends on the brand some contain digestive stuff so they cause little affect on your digestive system. they do absoultely nothing to me though i have 3 a day and my body pretty much accepts them as if they were normal food.

    if you want protein and fibre in one go eat baked beans, they make you f**t the worst though so as long as you have a shower before leaving the house no harm done lol. not only that a 420g can of baked beans contains the same amount of protein as most protein shakes.
