  1. I really do not see it going Ken's way here. he is not explosive enough any more. how ever if he fights smart and trains like h**l, like never before he could do it. This to me is a Second round K.O.

  2. Don't sleep on Shamrock... He's gonna come out in top condition. My prediction is Kimbo will either go the distance and win by descion or KO Shamrock late in the 1st round. Either way it's gonna be a Div. II match. It sure isn't USC vs. Ohio State caliber.

  3. i think shamrock is gonna submit kimbo.  if he can get him on the ground like james thomspon did, he will submit him with his skills.  kimbo has no ground game

  4. Yeah, kinda hard to believe huh? I'm sure elite XC is just trying to give Kimbo a half way credible victory and banking on the fact that Shamrock as of late seems to have forgotten that he is a good grappler and has only been fighting on his feet.

Personally I agree with you it could go either way.

If Shamrock remembers that he is a good grappler he will take Kimbo down and ruin his day. The problem there is that Shamrock has seemingly refused to do that for a while now and just keeps trying to go out and exchange punches with people, if he does that with Kimbo chances are very good that he will lose.

I am not a Kimbo hater, but I am getting tired of all the hype without seeing any evidence that he deserves it. Bas is working with him, which tells me that Bas sees something worth working with, but I haven't seen it yet. Power punching, no doubt he possesses it but there has to be more.

I'd actually laugh my butt off if Shamrock clocked him in the exchange and jumped on the ground with him and submitted him. Not going to hold my breath on it, unfortunately I think Ken is more likely to try to slug and get caught.

  5. Yes, with the winner fighting Brett Rogers. Shamrock lost his last five fights in the first round, and was TKO'd by Sakuraba in 2006. Sakuraba, a broken-down catch wrestler (as great as he was in his prime). I pick Kimbo. Not saying taht he's anything special, but neither is Ken.

  6. Not a rumor, its officially Kimbos next fight. I think Slice will win it, Shamrock has always been easy to knock out and is 44 years old. Come on Elite XC, stop hand picking Kimbo these easy fights

  7. Tough call.  Kimbo is still new to MMA, and doesn't have a ground game yet.

The thing about Ken is that he may have lost 5 straight, but those were against guys who have been in MMA for awhile.

Ken is smart enough not to go hand up with Kimbo.  Anyone Remember UFC 1 and 2?  Ken went straight for the take down on that boxer?

The good thing for Kimbo is that Ken is a bully and he will lose his will to fight after he fails to dominate or gets hit too many times.

    I won't bet on this.
