Rumour indicate that Cesare Prandelli could quit the Italian manager’s position to takeover Inter Milan after Euro 2012.
Reports suggest that Nerazzurri president, Massimo Moratti, has expressed his desire to acquire the services of the Italian manager to replace the young Andrea Stramaccioni, at the helm of the San Siro giants.
Prandelli is currently contracted with the Italian Football Federation until 2014, but he has admitted in the past that he misses the day to day action of a football club.
Sky Sport Italia has suggested that Moratti is ready to offer the veteran €4m a season contract for three years at Meazza.
If Prandelli chooses to take up the option, Andrea Stramaccioni will move back to managing the Inter Primavera after taking over the senior side to replace the sacked Claudio Ranieri.
However, if the Azzurri chief declines the offer, the club will turn their attention to other lucrative candidates for the position.
