Run a mile?

I'm 11 and I have to train for a mile. My whole reservation runs/walks last year I didn't get such a great time. (I was waiting for people) How do I emprove my time.(I've been training all year)

  1. when you train ...try to run your mile through all the pain. try your best and do not walk. if you walk that means you're giving up and if you give up easily you wont really be that good. if you jog and its really slow it doesnt matter since you're still fighting through it

    try to eat healthier

    stretch after a good warmup (2 laps and drills)


  2. You can train by running the mile whenever you can. Also, do the little things that help you run faster.

    seems like you need to find somebody your level or above that will RUN the whole mile with you,

    once (if you can't already) you have ran the whole mile,,

    You need to do a lot of interval training to get faster.
