Run away to DR?

Question

Been to the Dominican Republic several times and am thinking about quiting work and moving there. From selling my house and cashing in my 401K I can get my hands on enough money to buy a nice home and not work for 1-3 years. Was wondering what jobs are there around Puerto Plata -> Punta Cana for a 38 year old male (very little spanish) who wishes only to work enough for living exspenses.
