  1. Safety first;;;; Hydrogen is the most explosive gas on earth. It will require real power to break water down into hydrogen.

  2. fiction

what they are calling running cars on water is just the old water injection systems to increase mpg

you still have to put gas in them.

  3. There has to be a way.  The gas prices are going to kill us.

  4. i think there is a way!

  5. Well its not capable in your average engine, since normal engines utilize a combustion reaction that forces the pistons back when they come down.  Since water isnt flammable thats not possible. But if someone were to make a hydrogen or water engine that runs on water that would most definitely work.

  6. I DON'T BELIEVE IT.  THIS QUESTION COMES UP SEVERAL TIMES EVERY DAY.

NO, IT DOESN'T WORK.  IT CAN'T WORK.

wouldn't you think that all the electricity generating companies would be doing this if it worked, rather than pay all that money for coal and oil,  and having to put up with all of the EPA air pollution rules.

ya know, after you've burned firewood, so there's only ashes left, are you going to be able to burn it again?  even if you really want it to?  when i see,  "Well we'll need to (burn water), gas is becoming so expensive" ....  would the same logic apply to, "i'm getting so hungry, i guess i'll just have to learn to go eat dirt"?

water is hydrogen that's already burned.

    you can't burn it again.

  7. Hydrogen: explosive BUT cant burn ur skin!!!

    Water have three state.

    Ice Water Steam

Maybe steam power do the job powering vehicle.

Steam power almost every turbine in all power station.

Maybe it can power cars too.

When it compress. the release of this gas will be so cold. cold all the temp on the earth.

watch these video. Its aboat water power vehicle!!

    But not almost my answer.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJ3juM6vH...

  8. In theory , yes , it is possible .  The problem is it takes electricity to change the water into hydrogen and oxygen .  It's more efficient to simply power an electric motor than to convert water into hydrogen .  A battery powered car will weight less and go farther than a car full of water that needs a large battery to convert the water into hydrogen .

  9. I though it was run on hydrogen? not all water??

  10. Injecting water helps.  http://ezinearticles.com/?Myth-Busters--...

Hydrogen will work but not as a DIY or conversion.  There have been small scale hydrogen plants out for years in 3rd world countries but they are NOT legal in the US.  Not necessarily a bad thing, we probably shouldn't have bombs in our backyards.
