Run faster?

I want to join my school track team and i want to know how i can get more speed i am 14 115-120lbs and about 5'7"

  1. just run a lot and do alot of exercizes before track starts like lunges, leg press,walking,joging, and running


  2. With out more information about what you are doing there is no good answer.  Do you want to run?  Throw the shotput?  Be a high jumper?  All of these require different workouts

  3. Start running about 6-5 days a week. Mix it up and do long runs then do shorter faster paced runs.
