Question:

Run to lose bodyfat??

If I run in the morning (before breakfast) for 2 miles, 3 times a week , and workout 3-4 times a week should I get good results in bodyfat loss in 2 months?

p.s. - I also plan on running a mile or so after my workouts

  1. work out for 15 minutes b4 running. it takes 15 minutes of exercise b4 ur body can burn fat


  2. Yes, but it sounds easy but its not. Not jsut the running but the motivation. It's hard for me to get out on the road and I LOVE running. Also go on bike rides. Go swimming. But yes in 2 months about im saying getting rid of about 24 pounds. 3 pounds a week.

  3. It all depends on what you are starting at. I hit the gym one day and found out I was 12.5% body fat. I ran 2-3 miles a few times a week and still found my body fat percentage to be around the same. However, if you are 15+, I am sure running will make you lose that fat easily in 2 months.

  4. Absolutely! You may not even need to workout in conjunction- at least not as often as you're saying- but it would turbocharge the whole thing, because the more muscle you have on your body when you go running the more fat you'll burn.
