Runescape: Strength Pure or Range Pure?

Range Pure...strength can be easily trained later.  It may be a psychological thing, but range is harder to train when you are already good in another combat skill.

right what type of pure you want depends on what you enjoy ...

range i personally find is alot less boring because you can change your training spots ... and if you become a member you can complete fight caves :P ... strength pures cant ...

range pures are extreamly good because you only have to train range whereas with strength you really need to get 40 attack to wield a rune 60 atk for dragon and 75 for a god sword ... this kind of defeats the object or being a pure. however if you don't get the attack levels you can wield certain weapons but the chances of you hitting high are extramly low because your attack is so low ...

now as for range you can train range easily with very lil problem and it is easier to get better range weapons as you progress with range unlike mellee ... also you hit frequently ... and with dragon (e) bolts and about 90 range you can hit well into 65's :) ... the quickly swap to a mage short with a spec to finish them off at level 90 you could eaily hit 19-19 with a spec

so advantages of mellee (str pure)

1.very high hits

2.99 str cape is so cool :P

3.you can decide to get 99 attack and pwn

disadvantages

1.long process (longer then range)

2.very little places to fast train ... (knights in pollivwich,ape atoll)

3.very boring

4.you hardly hit throught your training makeing it more annoying

5.you cant wield half the weapons you are wanting

6.finally a str pure on thier own do not have many advantages they are normally hi-bird

range

advantages

1.you can get better weapons as you progress without restrictions

2.so much more fun to train so many places (waterfall,lessor daemons,blue drags)

3.make your money back from kills

4.when you get to about 70 range you can make about 1M-1.5M profit a day from blue drags plus decent xp

5.you can attack from a distance

6.easier and way quicker then a str pure :P ...

7.you can own mages at duel area(as high amount of stakers are mage)

8.they own :P ..

an added bonus of a range pure is you can get 55 mage (to use snare) this will hold your enemy 15seconds why you mage them ... this will also only affect your pure level by 2 levels! well worth...
