  1. report the account as stolen, have it locked and then assuming your friend knows his recovery questions and account numbers for his membership he will be able to get it back.  the kid who hacked it is lying that he cant get back into it. that or there was a third party. someone is sneaking around or lying

  2. You will have to fill out an Account-Recovery form with as much information as possible.  This includes,  first passwords, latest password,  recovery questions, and any information that is special to the account(pins, warnings,  levels gained on which day,  date account created,  last login, last log off, etc.

Jagex is not responsible for the loss of items and gold due to being hacked and such.

I highly recomend you(or your friend) gets a good anti-virus and anti-spyware program that will help you defend against bad programs.

Also,  change your password on a weekly/monthly time table.  Here are some guidelines of a good passwords:

-Do NOT use any english words

-Do NOT start the password with a number

-Do NOT use a backwards spelt english word

-Use a password that is both using numbers and hard for a password cracker to bust.

    An example is:

m8ny8ppl3s.  Notice how the A is substituted for the 8 and the e for the three.  This is harder for the passcode cracker to bust.

    Best wishes in the future!

  3. i agree with nikki get the account locked then unfreeze it you also may have a hacker just a big coincidence.
