Runescape power levelling?

Question

Hi, I'm really confused right now, because I got banned for 10 days on runescape for powerlevelling, but I didn't powerlevel! I was smithing cannonballs, and raising smithing levels. I even appealed it but it wasn't accepted, so I was wondering, what can I do to prevent this from happening again? I was accused of something and then punished for it even though I didn't do it!
