Question:

Runners, doctors, anyone: patellofemoral syndrome?!?

I'm 14 and I run year round. Over the indoor season I had pain while I ran around my kneecaps. The athletic trainer told me about patellofemoral and how my knee caps don't track properly. He tapes them to help with the pain, but I'm having a big problem with weakness in my knees. I now can't finish a race without fighting my knees to hold me up. I'm getting really frustrated and just want to get to the bottom of this. Is it related to the PFS or is it something else? thank you
