Question:

Running Accessories?

So basically I'm looking into getting a visor to wear while i run! Yet i feel like the ones on the internet look so stinkin' HUGE! But do i have to wear one specifically made for "running" or does it really matter? There are really cute tennis ones and baseball ones- yet im not sure if they will be "good enough" to run in. Does it really matter? or should i stick with the ones meant for running?!

Thank you!

What's interesting for me to note, after running so many years (40+), that there are a number of accessories from one sport that are extremely useful in another.

So when it comes to visors, ask yourself, what do you want the visor-hat to do?  Keep the sun thoroughly out of your eyes?  Keep your head cool?  Keep your head warm? Absorb sweat?

Then after deciding what you want the visor-hat to do, think about what you enjoy wearing that will do what you want the visor to do!  And wear it, no matter what sport it came from or was designed for!

**I wear different visors-hats for different situations - wide, long brims for rainy days, to keep the rain out of my face.  Short brims for the typical sunshiney day.  And often no visor at all . . . because I don't want to!  My hats have come from races, sporting events, or started out as souvenirs from one place or another.  I've not tried them yet, but it looks like the hats designed for bicyclists (not the helmets) look like they could be really good for running.

  2. why do you need one..you're running...

if your running track..you can't even wear it in meets.
