ok so for next year for football im trying out for Running Back (HB). the only problem is, is that im not a kind of person who likes to hit or get hit. meaning if i have to block for the qb, ill do it....but running into a guy, i cant. so for my own good i want to know how i can be a good running back without any man on man contact. im not a hitting person, i just want to run, juke, spin, quick juke, etc. (Just like Barry Sanders) and also...

what are some workouts i can do to make me faster in

running and agility so i can be atleast 2nd string running back!

here is my INFO:

Height: 5'7''

Weight: 108 lbs

Age: 13 (goin on 14)

btw: my speed is pretty fast, almost a wide receiver kind. im not very buff or bulky either.

  1. You are pretty skinny, but take the contact man, if you don't, you will be mentally weak when someones coming at you and you will panic, and make bad decisions, and i gurantee you will fumble the ball, you have to fight for those extra yards when a guy is taking you down man, Get tough.  Do squats, run sprints everyday, maybe mix in a mile jog if you want, lift weights, you are going to get hit to the ground, and hard, because once ur running, all eyes are on you, all those guys wanna tackle you down.
