I run 50 m in 7.2 or 7.1 seconds.

How can I improve my time?I haven't done specific training for this so I don;t know. And I don;t know how fast I run at 100 m. (probably about 13-14 sec-slow lol) I need to run at 50 m because I have to take a test at school ,so be patient and explain how can I get a faster time.

  1. run on the tips of your toes. It gives you maximum speed and push. I like to keep my hand flat kind of like your body is a forklift while running. Keep your eyes straight ahead and just imagine their is a dog or a bee chasing you. Works everytime.

  2. I read somewhere that if you take a string rubber band and stretch it around one of your toes and your heel, it gives you extra spring in your step, I'm not exactly sure how credible it is, I think I read it in Wired, however, something that does help is the kind of shoe you wear, wear running shoes (obv) not skate shoes like DCs or something

  3. Thats very true, i never though to tell new runners to wear running shoes, but it is crutial.

Ur schools track sprinter's coach can show you some techniques and the basics to sprinting. he can also show u how to get stonger and better.

Im a distance runner, but i do sprint some. Definitley stay on your toes. Pump your arms! And keep your head level, looking foward, you dont want your head up too much and u dont want to be lookin down.

    Do good!
