Hello, I've noticed recently that when I go out for a jog that my head is tilted down. One time I when out for a jog and tried to keep my head up and time after time I found my head slipping down and unable to hold it up, I have to let it drop all the way, so that I was looking at my feet and then relift my head up again. What is this? Simply muscle weakness? Or is this normal? Let me know.- Thanks P.S. I have not had a neck or any other back injuries

  1. it's just your unique style. Head down somehow makes you go faster.,

  2. I'll have to pay attention to where my head is next time I run, but I don't think there's anything wrong with running like that. Your body is probably just most comfortable in that position. It could be muscle weakness in your neck and shoulders. Maybe do some light lifting with hand weights, lifting them up and down over your head and see if that helps. If not, I say just keep doing what you're doing, unless it starts to cause you discomfort!

  3. it happens to most when ur tired ur forum goes down the drain lol, my neck tilts to the left as i get tired :D

  4. Your head will go down when as you get tired and lose your form. Try to fight it and keep your head up and shoulders back. Whenever it happens to me, I start focussing on my breathing and force myself back to proper form. It can be tough, but it will help.
