Running Long Distance?

I play college baseball and as a pitcher we do alot of long distance running, which i hate but i know i have to do it to stay in shape. Can someone tell me the proper way of running long distance meaning like ways to keep running and not get tired like breathing techniques.

  1. right step (inhale through nose)..left step (exhale through mouth)..


  2. i used to run long distance an it helped me by breathing in through my nose out through my mouth

  3. dont start of too fast, and try to keep a consitant pace. its ok if you get out of breath. have fun and good luck!

  4. what you need to do is try to find a pace that u can stay without trouble at for a long time. whenever ur arms feel tired, shake them out. for breathing, try to stay relax and lengthen ur breaths. if ur breathing too heavily, ur going too fast. breathe in and out very releaxed. good luck!

  5. when  i run long distance i try to keep a conversation going or talking to my running partner if alone say high to every one or sing my music yes you look dumb but it helps you keep pace if you cant talk slow it down until you can. remember the more times you run a longer distance the more your muscle fibers grow so the less you fatigue so then you can pick up tour pace
