Question:

Running Problem?!?!?

I want to do my best this cross country season, but my friend expects me to run with her during practices. I want to go beyond my limits and when I run with her, then I'm below them.

I don't want to be rude and run past her, but how do I tell her that I want to lead the pack instead of running in the back?!?!

  1. If you want to do your best, just tell your friend that you want to run near the front, and want to go at a little faster pace, she'll understand, my friend did that with me, and I didn't mind at all, your friend probably won't mind either. If she does mind, she'll get over it eventually, she should want you to do well this season too.

  2. ask her to join you in running in the front: tell her it will help us get better, and if she disagrees with your offer then tell her you want to get better so you are going to do it. and on days you feel sore and bad you can run with her in the back. good luck and i hope this helps

  3. I kinda had a problemlike that in PE just be honest with her....tell her you want to try to push your limits and ru as fast as you possibly can...thts wat i told my friends...or ask her to run with you...but faster lol
