  1. It tones the body everywhere but it doesn't actually build muscle, except a little bit in your legs.

  2. Expect results in about a month month and a half. running does burns calories from most all parts but in order to truly tone your arms i would suggest meybe running with 3llb weights in each hand.

  3. I'm doing the same thing, so welcome to the club hehe except i run about 5 miles a day, after running, do some situps and pushups, if you have a pull up bar, do some pull ups. Do like ten push ups and about 6 sets, you will get some upper body muscle, pull ups you'll get biceps, depending on which one you do. For push ups, do them in different ways. Wide, for triceps etc.

    Hope this works for you

  4. 1. Long distance running tones but does not make your calves larger.

    2. The order may vary but, when losing weight you will see effects in the mid section/stomach, face, arms, hips, butt and then finally your thighs.

    3. You can expect to see the first results within the first two weeks of training and more dramatic results within three months.

You will burn more calories during and after exercise. You should also follow a healthy low fat diet.

  5. yes it will make your calves larger
