I would honestly get the brooks, they are built better and higher quality then nike but it also depends on the feel of the shoe, u should try both of them on and see which one feels better, but between the two i would go with brooks, i run cross country and track and have tried many different shoes, i would look at sauconey to if ur intrested, but i hope this helps

They both look good. I would try them on and feel which one fits better. They are both probably about equal in terms of what they can do. No shoe will make you super fast if you are not. Also- maybe try going to a running store and see which they recommend for you. Make sure it is a specialty store and not models or dickssportinggoods/
