Running Spikes (what are some good, relatively cheap brands)?

I am a virgin to buying running spikes and I need them for Cross Country. So my mom is gonna take me sometime soon so I need to know what kind of things I should look for when buying spikes. So here are my questions:

What sort of brands (in your opinion) are the best?

Are there different types of spikes?

If so, what should I get?

if u go to final-score.com u can alot of shoes that are on sale. i got practice shoes for $30 and i got spikes for $30. there are cheaper items there also
