Running and jumping rope?

So I know that running helps lose belly fat and jumping rope burns more calories than running so does jumping rope help burn belly fat as well?

  1. Both will burn fat all over.  You can't use an exercise to lose fat in a certain area of the body.  Some areas will lose fat faster than others but you cannot target fat in a certain area.  


  2. Any exercise will burn calories. It's indeed difficult to target burning fat from a particular area, however, and the belly can be one of the last places, if not the last, to lose its fat.

  4. Absolutely. The more calories that you burn, the more fuel your body needs. Fat is just your body's "fuel reserve" if you will. So doing a more vigorous activity will result in a quicker loss of fat.
