Running and tennis, loose some weight?

the tennis season at my school is starting, its from today- end of Sept and we practice 3 nights a week for 2 hours. we also run 3 laps around all 6 courts, at a jogging pace. will all of this help me shed a few pounds? and maybe trim up? my thighs are particularly large, partly because Im lazy and partly because my whole family has big thighs =|

Im 15 by the way. and I do need to get in better shape, I hardly ever exercise. so don't tell me Im fine the way I am, I know for a fact Im really out of shape.

  1. Geez..we have practice everyday for tennis and sometimes 2-a-days. And we run 5 laps, plus another run and drills. YOU are lucky..but yes you should tone up if it's more activity then usual.


  2. yeah definitly all excersize helps you get in shape...but if you want to get in great shape you probably need to change your eating habits...try not to eat too much foods with a lot of fat or sugar, dont eat late at night and dont skip meals. just stay with it and you'd be suprised how much better you will feel!! good luck:)
