Running/bike riding.?

i was wondering if bike riding or running tones your stomach? I like my legs but i want to have nice abs again, does running or bike riding do anything for that, or should i just be doing crunches?

    Cycling (or running for that matter) will not tone your abs!

  2. Cycling doesn't tone your stomach because you're not using any abdominal muscles and I don't do running but I don't think that would do much for your stomach muscles either. The best exercise for a flat stomach is probably sit ups.

  3. I am big into both running and biking!

    What i have found out (without working out and such) that Running tons your abs, and gives you abs!

    With cycling, you arent using your whole core to move,but mainly just raw leg power.

    With running, you are pumping your arms, which then moves your stomach left to right. From that activitie it tightens, and looses your stomach muscles, creating abs :D
