Running for Office... Vote For Who?

Question

Hi!! My best friend is running for president and my boyfriend is too. I love them both so much but my boy friend has more potential to be president. My best friend really wants to be president but I am going for the changes they will both make. My boyfriend would win! I don't want to hurt my friend but I always stand for what I believe in... this is difficult for me? Should I vote for what I want or make my best friend happy?

I always help my best friend but since I always do, I was thinking I could go for my boyfriend but my best friend is used to it now so I don't want her to be hurt!!!

I put my question here because most people come to beauty and style and I want both sides to give me an answer on what they think. If there are good answers, I will do best answer but if not, I am deleting the question but I always pick a best answer cause people always have a best answer!!

Well, if you HAVE to vote, don't disclose your vote to your friend or boyfriend. You don't have to tell anyone who you voted for.

I commend you for thinking of who would be best for the job, and not just who is running, since most of these school elections turn out to be just "popularity" contests.  I think you should vote for who is, in your opinion,  the  the best qualified.  If they do/must know who you voted for then just explain your reasons for voting the way you did..  Unless they are just in it for popularity votes then they should understand.  I know it is a tough decision, so just do what you think is right.

Tell your friends you don't want to choose between them and don't vote for anyone.

Well can you just vote for another candidate? Or maybe just fill in an empty spot/both spaces. At my school they never checked to see if you voted correctly.
