  1. your legs get bigger... because your leg muscles are getting stronger.

  2. I hate to burst your bubble but if you want skinner legs running isn't going to do that.  If anything it is going to make them bigger because your muscles will get bigger.

  3. Actually, running will make your legs larger because they get bigger muscles from running.

Don't be ashamed by that, it shows you are in-shape.

Also, remember that you are who you are and the people who love you don't care that your legs aren't as skinny as you would like. Don't worry about what other people think about you 'cause you got who you got and thats all you need.

    Good luck!

    I hope this helps!

  4. i've been running for a while and sorry to tell you but they don't get skinner by a large amount !

Legs just build muscle and if anything get slighty bigger.

Running does make you nicely toned though

I found that swimming make legs skinner and tones you into a nice figure. Also gym work  ( weights etc) does a nice job !

    Good Luck x

  5. it just makes it bigger, since you get more muscle

  6. I have been running for a couple of months steadily 5 days a week.

I am just now noticing that my legs are not just firmer, but also thinner.

It is also getting easier to run.

Be patient with yourself and be consistent.

It takes a while of being consistent at it and you WILL see benefits.

  7. its not gonna happen in a weeks time

and also depending on your condition when you started you will slim down a little bit and then you will notice that you are gaining muscle and your lags may get bigger but they will be nice and toned

  8. I'm not gonna lie, this is my second season of cross country, and my calves are HUGE. but their not fat, if you know what i mean, their "well toned." if your legs are bigger, they will probably slim down a bit after a few weeks, if you are dedicated, after a month, you will be able to tell a huge difference. and even if they are bigger, you will just get more compliments on your muscly legs. =]
