Running for slimming legs???

i'm 16. I'm about 5'1 and weight about 51-52 kg. I want to lose weight on my legs and tone them up at the same time but I'm afraid running will just makes my legs bigger and bulk. My lower legs are a bit muscly compare on my upper legs their a bit saggy and fat. I want to have a slim toned legs so I am starting to do some exercise to have a nice body. If running helps me lose weight on my legs and tone them at the same time how long should I run for? and how many times a day? beach carnival is coming in a month and by then Id love to have a nice toned slim legs...

help plzz...

  1. yeah u should walk or jog or run or even power walk abt 30 mins a day. uphill suggested


  2. i do cross country in the fall. and around that time i try to eat really good, and i work out every day in practice. and my legs and whole body always slim down because of it. so i would suggest just jogging. dont do any heavy sprints, or your gonna get bulky really muscly legs.
