Question:

Running- if you are a runner please help!?!?!?!?

I have been running for a while now i am on the cross country team and the track team. I stopped running for a week because i was sick so i started running again like 2 weeks ago and now my shins and thighs really hurt. Also i used to be able to run like 7 miles with no problem and now running 3 i am super tierd? So does anyone know why this is happening or any advice on what to do now?

  1. it only takes 3 days to get out of shape. dont worry just keep training and youll be back on top.

  3. well you probably still need to rest

    and then increase your miles slowly

    but not to slowly

  4. your body is just tierd and it needs a break

  5. If you used to run 7 miles before, you can do it again. I think you're just not trying hard enough. When you give up once, it becomes easier and easier to give up. You need motivation!

    Just think that you'll do it!
